This picture is so old. This was taken on our honeymoon in St. Maarten in 2002. Damn. We were so cute and so young. And tan. I remember sitting at this restaurant on the French side of the island and enjoying a 2 pound lobster. It was delicious!!! St. Maarten is such a quaint, tiny island that is divided into two sides: the Dutch side and the French side. The island itself is only 37 square miles – and so much fun to explore!

The travel bug struck Tim and I WAY before our honeymoon. We found ourselves on an awesome trip through Europe just months after meeting. We traveled well together… which is a LOT to say for a new, young couple! On that trip, we went to France, Italy, Hungary, Austria and Germany. It was such a crazy trip… but we made ourselves laugh through all of the uncomfortable situations. And so it began. The life of being wanderers.

And we added 2 kids and a cat. What could go wrong?
